Ian Chapman BEng BSurv MIEAust CPEng RPEQ Ian has 15 years' experience in the project management and design management of transport infrastructure schemes. This includes roads and highways, mine facilities, onshore port facilities, bridge repair and refurbishment, bus facilities, cycle facilities and improvements to the pedestrian domain.
He has experience in the design and management of highways and road works, airside and landside aviation projects, and urban developments.

Malcolm Chappell BSc (Hons), FICE, FIEAust, MTS, MBT
Malcolm brings 37 years of experience to his role of development director for tunnelling, Australia. He leads a team of technical experts who together form one of Halcrow’s two international centres for excellence in tunnelling. The depth of this expertise was recognised by the Institution of Civil Engineers in conferring on Halcrow the Tunnelling Advisor of the Year award for 2011.

Phil Hughes BA, BSc, Masters of Regional and Resource Planning Phil is a specialist in sustainability, water resource management, environmental economics and policy. Clients return to us again and again for Phil’s unique skills in, amongst other things, sustainability integration and reporting and management. He leads the water and environment team at Halcrow in Australia.

Kevin Moloney NEBOSH certificate; Health and Safety for Business Managers NVQ D32, D33; Dip in Management Studies Kevin is an experienced railway manager who has extensive knowledge of railway operations and safety He has been involved in the purchasing, testing and commissioning of new rolling stock as well as managing depot enhancements and service continuation. Kevin looks after projects served from our Sydney office.

Jim Sly BEng (Civil) with Distinction, MIEAust, MAWA Jim is the technical lead for the water team based in the Melbourne office, Jim has more than 30 years' experience in the investigation, design, contract documentation, construction and project management of water supply, sewerage and drainage works. He is constantly in demand for project review and prudence assessment of major water infrastructure programs.

Dr Paul Wilkinson BSc (Hons), PhD, MCIWEM, C.WEM Paul is development director, water, based in our Brisbane office. He is a water resources engineer with over 14 years’ experience of consulting involving the delivery of strategic, concept and detailed design water resource projects. Paul has worked extensively across the public and private sectors and his water team is in demand by clients in the rapidly growing Australian resources market.
